But he’s a princess :O
Baggage: Chapter 15. The Final Part.

Scarlett stroked Gabriel’s back gently as a soft coo parted his lips. Scarlett shushed him before slowly walking into Jenson’s room. A sense of deja vu hit her as she sat at the end of the bed silently, waiting for Jenson to wake once again. Scarlett kissed Gabriel’s forehead as she clung onto him, watching Jenson’s body lay still.

After an hour, Jenson’s body started to make movement. Scarlett sat up properly, her eyes bewildered with joy as Jenson slowly opened his eyes, filled with shock to see his distressed wife perched at the end of the bed.

“Scarlett,” Jenson croaked. Scarlett shushed him as she walked over, still holding onto Gabriel. Gabriel’s arms outstretched for Jenson. Jenson tried to sit up properly but his broken ribs stopped him. “Place him on my stomach,” Jenson told her.

“He’ll hurt your ribs,” Scarlett advised. Jenson shook his hair, he didn’t care. Scarlett carefully placed Gabriel on Jenson’s chest. Gabriel immediately started tugging on Jenson’s hair, causing the battered man to chuckle. That caused Scarlett to chuckle herself. She sat beside Jenson and stroked his cheek softly.

“What have you done to yourself?” she whispered before leaning in to speak his cheek. Jenson sighed. “I don’t know. The lies, the cheating, the hurting… it sent me insane. I’m so sorry, Scarlett. When you left with Nico and Gabriel in your arms, I saw my world walk out of the door,” Jenson cried.

Scarlett wiped the tear away from his cheek. “I felt the exact same. Being with Nico made me happy but you made me ecstatic. Being with him wasn’t right. We have both fucked each other over but that still hasn’t stopped me loving you,” Scarlett told him.

“It hasn’t stopped me loving you either,” Jenson whispered. Scarlett kissed his cheek again.

“The entire time I was Nico, he asked me to stop bringing you into the equation, to stop comparing each other. But you’re nothing a like because you will always understand me. Nico just tries to,” Scarlett mumbled. Jenson took her hand in his and squeezed it lightly with the little amount of energy he had.

“Ouch!” Jenson flinched as Gabriel started to get jumpy. Scarlett tried to take Gabriel away but Jenson frowned. “Please don’t. I missed him too much,” Jenson whispered softly, his voice cracked at the end. Scarlett nodded.

“Speaking of Gabriel, Nico wanted him to stay with him while I came to visit you but I don’t trust his thoughts. He still thinks I’m in love with you - and I am. Nico tried to grab him aggressively but I kneed him in the crotch. He’s going to take us to court for custody,” Scarlett sighed. Jenson looked up at her with large eyes, Gabriel still tugging on his hair.

“Don’t worry about him, Scarlett. We’ll get through this. Joint custody, whatever, we have Gabriel and each other. Isn’t that what counts?”

Scarlett eventually nodded. “I just need to get away from him. They revealed that he was the father on the new tonight. Everyone knows. They’re going to hound us,” Scarlett whimpered. Jenson used all his strength to cuddle her while minding Gabriel.

“Please don’t cry. They can’t hurt us if they don’t know where we are,” Jenson told her. Scarlett raised her eyebrow. “What are you implying?”

“We get away.”

Scarlett frowned. “Now? You can’t. Not in your state,” she protested. Jenson handed her Gabriel while he started to unplug himself. He shakily got out of bed and put on a clean pair of clothes. “I don’t care. I’m not staying here any longer. If we want to get away from them, now’s the time,” Jenson cried. Scarlett gulped.

Jenson disguised himself and they took an employee’s exit out of the hospital and to Nico’s car that she took. Scarlett bucked Gabriel into his seat. She felt Jenson weakly turn her around. His blue eyes blazing through her. “One question?”

Scarlett gestured for him to continue.

“Did you regret everything you have done to me?” he asked with a smirk on his voice. Scarlett chuckled. “I’ve got what I want right?”

Jenson leaned in and kissed her softly. “Good answer,” he mumbled against her lips before weakly climbing into the car, about to pass out. Scarlett climbed into the drivers seat, starting the engine.

And they drove off, baggage aboard and also behind, somewhere. They just hoped people didn’t know where.

Baggage: Chapter 13.

“Where are we?” Scarlett whispered, holding Gabriel in her arms, as she stood before a house by the sea in Dover. She felt Nico’s presence as he placed an arm around her shoulder before kissing the side of her head.

“Once you told me that you knew, I called up someone so we could get away from Jenson and others for a while,” he told her softly as he squeezed her shoulder comfortingly. His honey blonde hair remained perfect through the wind. His light blue eyes examined Scarlett’s face as she continued to examine the house in front of her.

“You knew I’d leave Jenson?” Scarlett turned her face, her emerald eyes clashing with Nico’s. He gulped and started to rub Scarlett’s back, soothing her. “Well, I was hoping you would. I told you the day Gabriel was born, I was waiting for when you were rady to leave,” he told her before kissing her forehead. Scarlett smiled softly.

“I guess I was wrong,” she muttered.

Nico frowned. “Wrong about what, Scar?”

“Jenson isn’t the only one that understands me, you do too.” A grin spread across Nico’s glowing face. He pulled Scarlett and Gabriel into his arms before planting a kiss on Scarlett’s lips. “Let’s get you two inside.”

A blanket was placed around Scarlett as she held the mug of tea in her hand, staring out at the perfect view of the Cliffs of Dover. Nico sat down beside her at the edge of the sofa. “Beautiful, isn’t it?” he said softly as he stared out at the sea.

Scarlett nodded and smiled. “Thank you,” Scarlett whispered as she turned to him.

He frowned. “Thanks for what?” he asked in a confused tone.

“For being there, for waiting and for letting me find out myself. I feel bad for saying this but I wouldn’t have believed you if you told me. I would have just assumed that you were trying to break Jenson and I up because you couldn’t have what he did. I’m sorry and I’m glad you let me figure it out for myself. It showed me his true colours,” Scarlett replied before leaning into to peck Nico’s lips. He smiled softly.

“I understand. Isn’t it just great that I understand you, huh?” Nico chuckled before pulling Scarlett into his chest. Scarlett giggled to herself before pecking his chest, then his neck, to his jawline, his cheek and finally to his lips.

“I love you, Nico,” she whispered.

He kissed her lustfully. “I love you too, Scar. And I love Gabriel. I love you more than Formula 1 itself.”

“Seriously?” Scarlett questioned with wide eyes. Nico nodded without hesitation.

Scarlett kissed his lips before standing up to bring her mug into the kitchen but soon stopped in her tracks. “Nico, higher that up, please,” she demanded, referring to the news channel that was playing quietly on the TV. Nico stretched for the remote and hired the volume up.

He may crash on the Formula 1 track but Jenson Button has had another crash, except this time, outside of Grand Prix. The 2009 World Champion was seen stumbling into his car in a drunken state, trying to follow his wife, Scarlett Button, and fellow F1 driver, Nico Rosberg along with her son - Gabriel - who is revealed to be Rosberg’s son. Insiders say that Button had the results changed, paying and sleeping with a young nurse to reveal the results for Jenson as the father. Previously, it was revealed at the originally planned wedding in Monaco that Scarlett had an affair with the German Mercedes man after Nico stormed down the aisle, refusing them to get married.

Button is situated in Whipps Cross Hospital, London. He is in a critical decision, his life on the line. He has a broken ribs and has suffered a concussion. More of this in the hour.

Baggage: Chapter 12.

Nico held onto his son for the first time as they stood in an abandoned car park. He had taken Gabriel from Scarlett who needed a few moments on her own. She was situated against the abandoned building while Nico stood by his car.

“Hey, Gabriel, it’s your dad, Nico,” he whispered and planted a kiss on Gabriel’s forehead. Gabriel wiggled and smiled up at Nico, a small chuckle leaving his lips. A tear-filled chuckle parted from Nico’s mouth as he held onto his son for as long as he possibly could.

He looked over at Scarlett who was just staring into space. Nico sighed as he continued to look at her, finally capturing Scarlett’s attention. Scarlett couldn’t help but smile at the sight before her. She slowly got up from the ground and made her way over to them. She pecked Nico’s lips and ran her hand through Gabriel’s hair as she stood before them.

“It looks perfect,” she whispered. She felt Nico place a hand behind her head and pull it towards him, their lips meeting once again. “Mmmm….” Scarlett mumbled softly as she pulled away, resting her head on Nico’s chest.

“I missed this,” Nico whispered as he kissed the top of her head.

“I missed this too,” Scarlett whispered as she took Gabriel out of Nico’s arms.

Scarlett’s eyes grew wide as she saw a group of paparazzi making their way into the car park. “Nico, get in the car park, we have to go,” she cried as she strapped Gabriel into his seat.

They both got into the car quickly before Nico sped off out of the car park, almost knocking down some paparazzi. Scarlett could hear something about Jenson and a car but she didn’t want to deal with Jenson any more - he had slept with the nurse who had changed the paternity test and almost killed the father of herb baby, she wanted him out of her life but a hold that Jenson had over her made her not shut him off forever.

Scarlett rested her head against the window. “Scar, we can’t go back to my home, they’ll no we’re there. Let’s go to Dover or something, it’ll take them a while to follow us,” Nico insisted.

Scarlett nodded and placed a comforting hand on his knee.

“It’ll be okay, babe, I promise you,” Nico assured her.

Scarlett sighed. “Nico, why didn’t you tell me about the paternity test being a lie?” Scarlett finally had the courage to ask.

Nico sighed. He shut his eyes for a moment before pulling the car over, turning his body to hers. He took Scarlett’s hands in his and rubbed them gently with his thumbs. “Scar, I didn’t want to break you and Jenson up again. I’ve already caused enough trouble. I didn’t want to be the guy that kept breaking up relationships. I wanted Jenson to have the guts to tell you. I didn’t want you to find out from an intoxicated man who thought it was his secret lover,” Nico revealed.

Scarlett shut her eyes tightly. “Nico, seven whole months. You knew for seven whole months. The whole world will find out it’s a lie. It’s fucking my family up, it’s going to ruin Jenson’s family’s hearts. They think Gabriel is their grandchild. I get why you did it but it’s hurting so many people,” Scarlett croaked.

“Well maybe if you didn’t run back to Jenson in the hospital and I didn’t have to ruin your original wedding day we wouldn’t be in this situation. May I remind you that man threw a glass vase at my head, he could have killed me, Scar,” Nico snapped.

Scarlett pulled her hands away from his. “Don’t you dare pin this on me. You’re the one that told me to go back to him in the hospital. You left me in the hallway,” Scarlett yelled.

Nico sighed. “I wanted you to follow me, Scar. I wanted you to chase after me, like I would have chased after you. I wanted to see how much you cared but obviously not enough for you to run after and leave him behind. I honestly thought you loved me. Sure Monaco was unexpected but we both wanted, we’ve both wanted each other since we met out the back of the garage in Belgium. We both felt something that day and you know it, you just don’t want to let yourself believe it because you’d regret the fact that you wanted to be with another man that wasn’t your boyfriend.”

Scarlett gulped and shook her head. “I don’t regret things, Nico. You obviously don’t know me enough to realise that, Jenson knows.”

“It’s all Jenson this, Jenson that with you, why can’t it be me? You’re my only girl. Why the hell does he always have to be in the picture?” Nico cried over-dramatically. He took Gabriel in his arms and kissed his son’s temple, comforting him.

Scarlett shook her head. “I’ve no idea, Nico. He just gets me.”

“But he obviously doesn’t care if he cheated on you twice. Do you…still love him, Scar? Be honest with me,” Nico whispered.

Scarlett shook her head. “I love you, Nico. I swear I do. I’m not with because you’re Gabriel’s father or the horrible things Jenson did. That day when you left in the hospital, I felt like an asshole for not running after you. For the rest of the pregnancy and even after I hated the fact that I was in Jenson’s arms and not yours because I obviously didn’t love Jenson enough if I loved you. It felt wrong being with him even though it was right on paper. My heart belonged to you all that time. I might not show it but I do,” Scarlett assured him.

Nico half-smiled. “So, you regret not running after me?”

It took a huge amount of courage for Scarlett to nod.

Nico burst into a smile, leaning over and kissed her lips.

“I love you too, Scar,” he cried happily before strapping Gabriel back into his car seat.

They both remained silent for the rest of the journey. A comfortable silence.

Baggage: Chapter 11.

Scarlett saw her whole world crumble before her. The last seven months a lie. She grabbed her purse and stormed out of the mansion, making her way to the hospital.

Her eyes immediately darted to the young nurse who was walking across the hall. Scarlett grabbed her arm and pulled her into the ladies bathrooms. “I know you slept with him,” Scarlett whispered, her emerald eyes eyeing the petrified nurse.

“Excuse me?” The nurse was bewildered at Scarlett’s unexpected appearance.

“I’m not stupid. His drunken mind told me everything. He paid you and slept with you to say that the child was his and Nico’s. He promised me it would be his, there was something sketchy about his promise. And the fact that he looks like Nico more and more each day obviously means something,” Scarlett cried, still holding a tight grip on the nurse.

The nurse gulped. “Okay, you deserve to know so yes, it is all true what he told you. I’m so sorry. I needed money because I was going to be evicted. He came to me and offered it. The sex was his idea. He looked the door. I couldn’t refuse. You know what he’s like. Those eyes can have so much power over you,” the nurse whispered, tears streaming down her cheeks. A strange and unexpected feeling of sympathy overcame Scarlett’s emotions. She pulled the nurse against her chest.

“I do get what he’s like. And I’m livid. I feel like murdering him right now because everything is a lie. And Nico knew, he just couldn’t tell me because everyone would turn against him. But this is for the best because I belong with Nico and I won’t be with Jenson just because he’s Gabriel’s father.”

Scarlett had informed Nico whom had moved to England to be closer to Scarlett. An affair hadn’t formed but they both couldn’t deny the love they shared for each other and how they craved each other with just one glance.

Scarlett arrived back at the mansion and burst the front door, Jenson had sobered up and was making his way over to her with a grin on his face.

“Where’d you go?” he asked in a confused tone, following Scarlett as she stormed up the stairs. She dragged out a suitcase for herself and Gabriel, throwing clothes into their suitcase.

“To see that nurse.”

“Errr…what nurse?” Jenson asked casually as he tried to shut the wardrobe doors on Scarlett.

“Move,” Scarlett gritted through her teeth. Jenson sighed and gave in that easily.

“The nurse that you paid and slept with to change the results,” Scarlett answered calmly as she zipped it up and dragged it along the floor behind her. Jenson suddenly had a tight grip on her arms, throwing her against the wall at the top of the stairs.

“How do you know?” Jenson spat, not denying his sins.

“Drunken words are honest words,” Scarlett chuckled before shoving Jenson away from her with her suitcase, running down the stairs. Jenson ran after her, hobbling, and cried for her to stop as she took Gabriel out of the cot.

Jenson took Gabriel out of Scarlett’s arms and placed him in the car seat on the ground. “Baby, listen to me,” Jenson sobbed.

Scarlett shook her head. “I have to go, Jenson. What you did was awful,” she cried through her tears.

Jenson wiped the tears off her cheeks, hurt over Scarlett’s flinch. “And having an affair with Nico isn’t?”

Scarlett sighed. “I know, we got over that but lying about the father of an innocent child. The whole world thinks that it’s you. And Nico knows, Jenson. He just didn’t want to hurt us any more,” Scarlett told him as she picked up her bags.

“And he’s on his way.”

Jenson’s eyes grew wide. “NO!”

Scarlett nodded. Jenson grabbed the vase as Nico walked through the door. He ducked just in time to see the vase smash on the concrete behind him. Nico’s eyes blaring as Scarlett screamed and protected Gabriel with her arms.

She looked at Jenson, horrified. Her bottom lip trembled as Jenson couldn’t believe his own actions.

“Scar, let’s go,” Nico demanded. He took the bags off Scarlett, leaving her to carry Gabriel.

“Scarlett!” Jenson called after her as Nico ushered her out of the door.

“Scar! We need to go,” Nico cried. Scarlett nodded but looked over her shoulder at Jenson. Seeing him for what she expected to be the last time.

Baggage: Chapter 9.

“Nico, what are you doing here?” Scarlett cried and rushed over to him.

Nico smiled as he pulled her into his arms. “I heard everything, Scar. You want to be with me?” That beautiful smile warmed her heart but something that Jenson had said made her fall back into reality.

Scarlett pushed Nico away from here.

“You can’t be here,” she whispered.

Nico frowned. “Scarlett, let’s go then.”

She shook her head. “Jenson was right,” she mumbled.

Nico rolled his eyes. “What did he say, Scar? Tell me, what? Because in there you sure as hell finished him and couldn’t wait to be with me but now you can’t wait to finish me and be with him.”

“I don’t want to be with him,” Scarlett screamed, she was pretty sure Jenson could hear everything and would climb out of the bed, even with injuries, to punch Nico’s face in.

Nico started huffing and puffing. “And what? What did he say, Scar? Stop making me wait around while you’re with him.”

Scarlett gulped, his words hitting her hard. “He said how I can I consider you after what you called me?” Her torn voice broke at the end after she choked her words out. Nico shook his head and walked over to her. He took her hands but Scarlett pushed him away gently.

“No.”

“Sca-“

“No.”

“Scarlett look at me,” Nico said as he held her face and her hair that had been grown for the wedding, it now fell down her back to her bra.

Scarlett ordered his commands and looked at those blue eyes that she had stared into lustfully before as shared a night at his condo in Monaco.

“Scarlett, I swear, I never meant that. I only said those words because I was angry at him because he had you. Scarlett, I didn’t mean it. I just wanted him to know the truth because you were keeping me a secret. I want you,” he croaked as he stroked her jaw with his thumb. Scarlett gulped again, taking in his sincere words.

“I need you,” he whispered against her lips before kissing them with lust. Scarlett placed her hand on his cheek as she kissed him back. They stood kissing in the doorway until Scarlett shoved Nico off her. She frowned at him.

“Are you bipolar of something?” Nico cried as he threw his arms in the air.

“It’s just-“

“Scarlett, do you love me?” Nico yelled as he walked closer to her. Scarlett didn’t refuse him this time, she nodded.

“Then why do you keep putting me aside for Jenson? You said to Jenson you were my only girl, why can’t I be your only boy?” he whispered tearfully.

Scarlett shut her eyes for a moment. “Because I’m pregnant with either of your children,” she replied quietly. She felt Nico take her hand.

“But our dates fit better, babe. I hope it’s mine,” Nico croaked.

Scarlett sighed. “I’m not putting you aside, Nico. Not any more.”

Nico’s face lit up.

“I don’t want either of you right now. I don’t know what I want,” Scarlett muttered.

“You want the father of your baby,” he yelled and grabbed her arm aggressively.

“What’s if you’re not the father?”

“You can’t keep playing us like this,” Nico retorted.

Scarlett’s bottom lip quivered. “I’m not playing you.”

“Yes you are! You’re playing us both because you can’t decide. It’s obvious you’re going to pick the father of your baby and that’s me. It’s obvious you love me more because you walked out on the man you were supposed to marry. You had sex with me while you were engaged. You told me you loved me that night. You kissed me in that elevator and you sure as hell wanted to kiss me at Spa. Don’t lie, Scarlett, I’m the man you want,” Nico squealed.

Scarlett nodded. His words made sense to her because they were the truth. Nico wrapped his arms around her waist once more. “It’s just not that easy, Nico. I was going to marry him. I should be married to him. We’ve been through a lot and we understand each other so much. He forgave me and I’m forgiving him. I’m sorry. I want to be with you but I need to be with Jenson. I hope you understand and we’ll find out the father of the baby and if the baby is yours, you will be allowed to see him or her,” she whispered before pecking Nico’s cheek.

Nico pulled her against his chest. “Babe…Scar, I get it. You need to be with him because it’s what’s right. I’m not sorry for wanting you and having you. I’m just sorry that you have to choose. I still love you and I’m willing to wait, even if you never come,” he whispered in her ear before kissing her lustfully once more.

He let go of her and stepped back.

“You and Jenson may understand each other and forgive each other. Jenson and I are nothing alike,” Nico told her.

Scarlett nodded. “I know.”

“Scarlett?”

“Nico?”

“You’re not my first choice.”

Scarlett’s heart sank.

“You’re my only choice. Now go, be with him,” Nico said before walking away.

And at that moment Scarlett knew who she wanted.

The man who ruined her what was supposed to be marriage or the guy who understood her?

The one who called her names or the guy who forgave her for cheating?

Either man could be the father of her child.

She knew deep down who she wanted.

But she couldn’t get him because he was walking out of her life and she was left to go to the man in the hospital room because that was what was right. But in her mind, it was all wrong.

Baggage: Chapter 8.

He lay plugged into a machine while Scarlett sat at the end of his bed nervously. The looks of Jenson’s family and friends burned through her mind as she walked into the waiting room, knowing that she was the reason he was in the hospital.

She sat awkwardly in the corner. The tension in the room had suffocated her so much that she burst out of the room in tears and stood outside, until one of the nurses came out and told her that the others agreed Scarlett should go in and talk to Jenson alone, without an entire congregation staring at them and without Nico and his smug grin spread across his face, taunting the couple.

Jenson hadn’t open his eyes and Scarlett wasn’t in the mood for waiting around the hospital any longer. She slowly climbed off the bed and twisted the doorknob when his voice sent a cold shiver down her spine.

“You don’t even have the decency to wait around for a couple of hours after what you’ve done?” his voice spat.

Scarlett felt a tear roll down her cheek. She turned around slowly, not wanting to meet Jenson’s burning eyes. Her body began to shake as he continued to stare at her.

“Sit down, you could be standing for a while.” Scarlett obeyed his orders. It was the least she could do. She gulped and walked over to the bed, she looked clueless at where to sit but followed Jenson’s gaze to sit at the foot of the bed, so she did.

She fiddled with the sleeve of her shirt, petrified to look at what should have been her husband. “You can’t even look at me?”

She shook her head. He sighed.

“Whatever,” she heard him mutter under his breath.

“And you won’t talk?”

“What can I say?” Scarlett croaked.

“At least give me a reason. Don’t I deserve that?” Jenson whispered. Scarlett nodded, her head facing her lap.

“I told you, Jenson. I was still mad about Jessica turning up at our hotel. It ate away at me and then I bumped into Nico. I…I can’t lie in saying I had feelings for him. He was there to comfort me when I was so confused,” Scarlett told him.

She heard him sigh yet again.

“He was obviously there when he knew you were vulnerable for a shag, Scarlett,” Jenson growled. Scarlett shrugged her shoulders, not knowing what to do. Still pretty much lost.

“Why was Jessica there?” Scarlett asked, finally willing to meet Jenson’s gaze. Now it was Jenson’s turn to have a guilty look in his face.

“She wants me back, Scarlett. She didn’t want to let me go. I was the one who let her go,” Jenson replied.

Scarlett fully turned her body to him. “You still love her…don’t you?”

Jenson turned his head away.

“Jenson, look at me,” Scarlett yelled as tears filled her eyes. Jenson shook his head. Scarlett crawled down the bed, grabbed his face aggressively and turned it so his eyes would meet hers.

“You still over her…don’t you?” Scarlett growled in his face, the tears were now streaming down her face.

Jenson nodded and not a sound left his lips. Scarlett let go of his face and walked to the door.

“Scarlett! Don’t you dare leave,” Jenson cried after her. Scarlett stopped in her footsteps sharply and turned around slowly.

“I can leave if I want,” she spat.

“No! No you can’t because you’re pregnant with possibly my baby,” Jenson retorted. Scarlett’s shoulders dropped. “It’s most likely Nico’s,” she whispered in an evil manner. Jenson furrowed his eyebrows, his eyes now filled with sadness.

“Do you regret sleeping with him?” Jenson asked her softly.

Scarlett still glared at him. “Remember what I said, Jenson? Never regret anything because at one time it was exactly what you wanted?”

Jenson gulped and nodded. A single tear rolled down his cheek. “At the time I did want it but now I don’t. But I can’t go against what I said because that’s not me. I don’t regret it because it’s shown everyone’s true colours and feelings. You love her and I respect that,” Scarlett replied softly. She smiled warmly at him before turning to the door again.

“But I love you too.”

Scarlett sighed again and turned to Jenson once more.

“If you fall in love with two people, be with the second person because if you truly loved the first person, you wouldn’t have fallen in love with another. Remember that, Scarlett? Those are your words,” Jenson cried softly.

Scarlett rested her head against the wall.

“That means I should be with you, Scar. I’m meant to be with you,” Jenson told her. A smile slowly spreading across his face.

“If that’s true so, I should be with Nico because I fell in love with you first,” Scarlett whispered, her eyesight not breaking with Jenson’s for what she hoped to be the last time.

Jenson’s face slowly fell. “Scarlett, please, I know it should be you apologising but I’m to blame too. I should have told Jessica to leave straight away but I didn’t. I’m sorry and I know you are too or else you wouldn’t have been crying or marrying me. Scarlett, relationships aren’t easy. I don’t want our cigarette to burn out. Our love is giving me such a high and I don’t want to ever stub it out.”

Scarlett squeezed her eyes shut. “It’s not that easy, what if it really is Nico’s baby? How can you look at him all of the time?”

“I can retire.”

Scarlett opened her eyes immediately. “Don’t be pathetic.”

“I’m being serious, Scarlett. Either I retire and raise this baby with you or we both act like we never happened. You can swan off to Nico and I will have Jessica,” Jessica cried.

Scarlett couldn’t believe her ears. “Jenson! We were supposed to be getting married-“

“Yes! We were. Until your lover stormed down the aisle and ruined everything. How can you consider him after what he called you?”

“Because he didn’t choose between me and other girl. I was his only girl, something I’m not with you,” Scarlett screamed with venom before storming out of his room and slamming the door behind her, to meet the eyes of Nico.
